Twitter for iPhone looks like it’s heading towards a major update soon. According to a leaked set of release notes in the iOS 6 App Store will be getting some new features, namely an “interactive Tweet view experience” that will give you the ability to view content (videos, images) within the Tweet. When version 4.3 goes live there will be Tweets about “selected events” – these are based on relevant tweets and images. In addition, you can expect to see the new Twitter logo be uploaded, plus autocomplete improvements, and push notifications enhancements that will give the option to receive push notifications when certain people tweet.
No word on when the update will be pushed through, but it’s coming.
