Another rugged device is heading towards TELUS’ Mike Network soon… a follow up to the i680 is the Motorola Brute i686. This looks identical to the previous model and can handle anything thrown at it. .The Brute i686 has a 2.2-inch internal display (resolution is 176×220), a 2 megapixel camera, threaded SMS, GPS, Bluetooth, Music Player, 2.5mm headset jack, can be “Submersible in up to one meter of water for up to 30 min”. No word on when this will be released or the price points.
