HTC just unveiled a couple new handsets in London. The HTC Desire HD and HTC Desire Z are both powered by Google’s Android-platform.
Specs on the HTC Desire HD have it designed similar to the Legend with a unibody aluminum frame with a 4.3-inch LCD display, 1GHz Qualcomm 8255 Snapdragon processoror, 8 megapixel camera, dual-LED flash and can record 720p HD video and WiFi. The HTC Desire Z has a “pop hinge” that reveals a full QWERTY keyboard, 5 megapixel camera, records 720p HD videos and has a 800MHz Qualcomm 7230 processor.
As for availability, HTC says “The new HTC Desire HD and HTC Desire Z will be broadly available through mobile operators and retailers across major European and Asian markets from October 2010 with the HTC Desire Z shipping in North America later this year.”
Any guesses on which Canadian carrier will be releasing the HTC Desire Z?
