It was only a few days ago that Wind Mobile announced they will be releasing the Nokia 5230… and today it can be yours for $180! Wind describes this as “The Nokia 5230 rocks the touch screen with a full-on media player and enough memory to store every tune you’ve ever heard. Add in Facebook and YouTube for a party in the palm of your hand.”
We did a quick unboxing and checked out the hardware yesterday (see video here). Quick specs of the 5230 are that it has a 3.2-inch touchscreen display (resolution of 640 x 360), can hold up to 16GB with a microSD card (ships with a 2 GB microSD card), 3.5 mm headset jack, music player, no WiFi, 2 megapixel camera with video capabilities, full HTML browser, bluetooth, speakerphone and has overall dimensions of 11 x 51.7 x 15.5 mm with a weight of 115 grams.
