Rogers BlackBerry Bold 9790 now available, $449 no-term

The Bold 9790 is the last BlackBerry that Rogers will be releasing this year and it’s now available. Sure, it doesn’t have the same specs as the Bold 9900, nor look the same, but it does have the familiar BlackBerry smartphone look, coupled with a full touchscreen display and a physical QWERTY keyboard. As we stated a few days back, the Rogers 9790 is priced at $99.99 on a 3-year and hits a decent no-contract price of $449.99.

  3. i beg for a bigger price gap between all those devices. For example, in terms of outright prices:
    * Curve: $250
    * Bold 9790: $400
    * Bold 9900 and Torch: $550

    Of course, not everyone will agree with my prices, but they’re simply examples.

    • Agreed they have lower high end price, medium high end price and high high end price. They need a low price, a medium price and a flagship. What’s stopping them from coming out with a sub $200 phone it would be amazing in the prepaid market

  4. I agree with Sean and Alex.

    The 9790 is 400 at Koodo and their is no reason the BIG 3 can’t price it the same way.

    The curve all touch comes in at 300 for Mobilicity which again is the price point it should be at. The curve 9360 should be 250.
