TELUS Motorola Milestone Video Quality

The TELUS Motorola Milestone will be launching very soon. In our first review we took a look at the hardware and we’ll post another full review of all the main features of the device tomorrow.   2. Chatted with a local Telus sales rep today, he told me the Milestone will launch “by the end of the month.” Reason he’s been given for the wait is to make sure it launches running Android 2.1.

    that doesn’t make any sense. the phones are already made have probably already been shipped to telus/bestbuy or are on their way there.

    according to motorolas facebook page, the 2.1 update is coming out this week for the droid. most likely it will launch on the 18th and if you buy it, thats the same day you will get the notification for the 2.1 update.

    i went to pre-order the phone yesterday at best buy and the sales rep said its launching on the 18th, in fact he said that the shipment of phones is already on its way to the different bestbuys.

    the shipping process takes a long time. if they were to wait for android 2.1 and then install it on all the phones, then ship it. the phone wouldn’t be here till next month.

  6. Looks good but I was at Telus today and had the opportunity to play around with the Milestone and I have to say, that keyboard absolutely sucks.The keys are very hard to push down, some keys didn’t move at all and the rest were minimal. Test drive this before you buy.

  8. BTW the droid is getting the 2.1 update way earlier than the Milestone. If you have been following the Milestone at all over in Europe, they JUST got the 2.0.1 update, so expect the 2.1 update sometime March-May.
