We recently came on this glorious invention a couple months ago. Now, it appears in the latest Time Magazine issue as one of the best inventions of 2007, winner of the CES for 2008 Best of Innovations Award. Wild Charge is the first wire-free charger for your mobile phone or smartphone (or any other electronic product).
Mitch Randall, the company’s founder and CTO made this statement about his product: “…we made a step towards eliminating the need for consumers to regularly lug around multiple bulky chargers, adapters, and cords for every battery-powered mobile device they carry.”
Even though we believe the device is a bit bigger than a cord/plug charger, he has a point rather than carrying around 2-3 different chargers. We have yet to get out hands on this gem but here is a link to the site for a quick peek.
