PlayStation has revealed its full suite of Black Friday 2024 promotions in Canada. In total, there are some pretty decent deals across the board, including games, consoles, PlayStation Plus subscriptions and more.
The deals run until December 2nd — read on for a breakdown of them all.
PlayStation Store
To start, the publishing giant has a big sale on the PlayStation Store, offering up to 70 percent off such games as:

- Baldur’s Gate 3 (PS5) — $74.79 (regularly $93.49)
- Dragon’s Dogma 2 (PS5) — $54.14 (regularly $94.99)
- EA Sports FC25 (PS4/PS5) — $44.99 (regularly $89.99)
- Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (PS5) — $56.09 (regularly $93.49)
- Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (PS5) — $51.29 (regularly $89.99)
- Metaphor: ReFantazio (PS5) — $70.11 (regularly $93.49)
- NBA 2K25 (PS4/PS5) — $40.49 (regularly $89.99)
- Sea of Thieves (PS5) — $32.09 (regularly $53.49)

It’s worth noting that some of these games are Canadian. EA Sports FC25 hails from EA Vancouver and The Outlast Trials was made by Montreal’s Red Barrels, while Star Wars Outlaws was co-developed by Ubisoft Toronto and stars Venezuelan-Canadian Humberly González.

Sony Pictures Core
Sony is offering savings on movie rentals and purchases through its Pictures Core app on PlayStation consoles. You can save on the likes of Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage (to promote the recently released Venom: The Last Dance, naturally), Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and one of the best films of the year, Madame Web.
Specific deals aren’t listed on the PlayStation website, so you’ll have to visit the Pictures Core app on your console to see more. But hey, it’s worth it for cinema.
