Mythic Quest Season 4 hits Apple TV+ in 2025, spin-off in March

The fourth season of Mythic Quest will premiere on Apple TV+ on January 29th, 2025.

Apple posted the release date alongside the first images from the new season on its social media channels.

This will be just over two years since the video game sitcom’s Season 3 finale on January 6th, 2023. Last year’s Hollywood strikes delayed the production of Season 4 to earlier this year.

A plot synopsis for Season 4 has yet to be revealed. However, Season 3 ended with Ian (Rob McElhenney) and Poppy (Charlotte Nicdao) returning to Mythic Quest for a new expansion, so we can expect some form of continuation of that main plot thread. (Interestingly, Mythic Quest Season 4 will coincide with the highly anticipated second season of Severance, which premieres on Apple TV+ on January 17th, 2025 — not a bad month for the streaming service!)

Additionally, Apple has confirmed that all four episodes of its Mythic Quest spin-off, Side Quest, will premiere on March 26th, 2025. It’s being developed by Ashly Burch, who plays Rachel on Mythic Quest and wrote some of that series’ episodes, and is described as an anthology about “the lives of employees, players, and fans who are impacted by the [Mythic Quest] game.” The first images from the series were also revealed:

Apple also confirmed some of the stars who will appear in the anthology spin-off, including Esai Morales (Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning), Anna Konkle (PEN15) and William Stanford Davis (Abbott Elementary).
