Koodo is texting customers with special, limited-time loyalty offers like $50/75GB 4G plans.
I received one such message from Koodo, which offered that plan alongside a phone upgrade on the tab. The plan includes a free feature that can be added on, though the message doesn’t clarify which perks are available to add for free.
The message also indicates that I can knock the price down to $45/mo by signing up for autopay.
The deal can be redeemed either by heading to a Koodo store and showing them the message or online by clicking the link included in the message.
On the one hand, the $50/75GB 4G plan isn’t a terrible offer compared to Koodo’s current in-market plans, which cap out at $59/60GB. On the other, the requirement to upgrade my phone immediately kills this deal for me, not to mention that I already have a $45/75GB Koodo plan with 5G data, which would make this a complete downgrade for me.
Still, if you’re a Koodo customer, keep an eye out for loyalty messages like this. You might be able to pick up a decent offer ahead of Black Friday. That being said, we don’t know yet what carriers will offer during Black Friday, so it might be worth waiting to see what kind of deals come out.
