Disney is offering Disney+ at a special introductory price in Canada.
From September 12th to the 27th, Canadians can subscribe to the streaming service’s entry-level Standard with Ads membership for $1.99/month for three months, which works out to $5.97 in total. By comparison, Standard with Ads is normally priced at $7.99/month, meaning three months would cost $23.97. Altogether, you save $18 this way.
As the name suggests, Standard with Ads offers ad-supporting streaming at 1080p resolution. For context, the other Disney+ memberships are Standard (ad-free, up to 1080p resolution) for $11.99/month and Premium (ad-free, up to 4K resolution) for $14.99/month.
The Disney+ promo coincides with the September 18th premiere of Agatha All Along, the spin-off to Marvel’s WandaVision. Pixar’s Inside Out 2, which became the highest-grossing animated film of all time earlier this summer, is also set to begin streaming on Disney+ sometime this fall.
