Everyday there seems to be a carrier expanding their LTE coverage. Bell is the latest as they’ve turned on service in Medicine Hat, Alberta. The total population of the area is just over 61,000 and the coverage map looks to be decent, but still in the core of the city. For those who are fresh to LTE (Long Term Evolution), you can expect faster speeds – potentially reaching 75 Mbps, but Bell states the average download speed will be around 12-25 Mbps. During our tests we’ve consistently reached upward of 30Mbps
With the addition of Medicine Hat, Bell’s LTE coverage now covers over 17 million Canadians and is available in locations such as Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, Kingston, Guelph, Barrie and Calgary.
