Interesting numbers released by StatsCan today. The “2010 Canadian Internet Use Survey” was conducted in October and November of last year and surveyed about 30,000 households and reveals that 79% of Canadian households had access to the internet. StatsCan also showed that 54% of households used multiple devices to connect to the web: 71% used a desktop computer, 64% a laptop computer and 35% used a wireless handheld device (no word if it’s a mobile phone or a tablet).
