Minecraft is now available on the Oculus Rift. The update that adds VR support to Minecraft for Windows 10 beta is available today.

The update is free to anyone who already owns the Windows 10 Edition Beta version of the popular crafting game. Those who don’t already own a copy can purchase a digital copy and get in on the virtual reality action as well.

Interestingly, the update also supports the use of a mouse and an Xbox One controller, which could be difficult for some given you won’t be able to see the devices while wearing the Rift.

Early impressions of the VR version of Minecraft were less than stellar, but Microsoft claims it’s made an effort to ensure this version of the experience is optimized to help increase player comfort.
