If you were patiently waiting for Google to use Black Friday as an excuse to discount one of its new Nexus smartphones, then I have some bad news for you.
Although the search giant has discounted the Nexus 5X by $80 on its U.S. store, a similar deal is nowhere to be found on the Canadian Google Store. (It appears the tablet is out of stock, but we’re hoping Google refills it throughout the day.)
Still, there are a couple of good deals to be found.
If you’ve already purchased a Nexus 5X or Nexus 6P and still need a protective cover for your new smartphone, all Nexus cases are discounted by 50 percent, including the ones designed by Google. Moreover, the more than one-year-old Nexus 9 tablet is discounted by $200. On the wearables front, the LG Watch Urbane has been discounted by $70 to $329.
If you’re looking for stocking stuffers, the company is offering two second-generation Chromecasts for $70.
