You’ll soon be able to buy a Moto 360 from the Google Play Store [Update]

Update: Google must have used the $249.99 price as a placeholder — perhaps from the U.S. site — because, while still Coming Soon, has been updated to reflect the standard Canadian price of $279.99. Oh well.

The Moto 360 is coming to Google Play.

You’ll soon be able to buy Motorola’s venerable Android Wear smartwatch for $279.99, in either black leather or stone (grey) leather, on the Play Store.

This is the fourth smartwatch to be available on Google Play after the LG G Watch, Samsung Gear Live and Sony SmartWatch 3, and comes in at the same price as Future Shop, Best Buy, TELUS or Bell.

The smartwatch comes with a 1.56-inch 320×290 pixel LCD display, a TI OMAP SoC, 512MB RAM, 4GB of storage, a 320mAh battery and an optical heart rate monitor. It’s also IP67 water resistant.

All Android Wear smartwatches, including the Moto 360, were recently upgraded to Android Wear 5.0.1, which brings official support for custom watch faces and a new app drawer experience.
