Here’s a list of apps to keep you updated on the Sochi Olympics

The Sochi Olympics are almost upon us and we’ve assembled a few apps to help you keep up-to-date on how many medals Canada has racked up. The big Opening Ceremony is scheduled for today at 11:00am (EST) and several of the apps below allow you to watch it live. Majority of the apps give you live updates, alerts, breaking news, medal standings and athlete profiles:

• Official CBC Sochi Olympic app for iOS, Android and Windows 8 (not on BlackBerry)
• Sochi 2014 Results: iOS, Google Play Store and Windows Phone App Store.
• Medal Alert by the International Olympic Committee for iOS and Android
• Olympic Athletes’ Hub for Android and iOS
• Bell and Virgin Mobile TV (live coverage and updates and available on all platforms)
• Rogers Anyplace TV is streaming CBC’s live feed
• theScore for iOS and Android, BlackBerry
