Google announced the launch of Gemini 3, its most intelligent AI model.
The Mountain View, California-based tech giant says that Gemini 3 is better at figuring out the context and intent behind your requests. The company is implementing the model into Google Search and says it can help users find even more credible and relevant content for their questions.
Gemini 3 Pro is available for everyone today. To use the feature, select “Thinking” from the model drop-down menu in Search’s AI Mode, and reportedly offers complex reasoning and dynamic experiences.
Along with AI Mode, the Gemini App will get a new look that’s easier to start chats with. You’ll be able to find images, videos and reports you’ve made in the ‘My Stuff’ folder. Further, the shopping experience brings product listings, comparison tables, and prices directly from Google’s Shopping Graph.
The new visual layout generates an immersive, magazine-style view with photos and modules. This could help with a query like, “Gemini, plan me a three-day trip to Rome next summer.” Additionally, Gemini offers Generative UI with interactive tools. Gemini 3 in AI Mode can dynamically create a visual layout for responses on the fly, such as creating a helpful layout with elements like images, tables and grids. Google says that if Gemini thinks an interactive tool will help users understand the topic, it will code a custom simulation or tool in real-time and add it to the response.
Google AI Ultra subscribers can try agentic features like planning to better help them get things done. Gemini 3 agents can take action on your behalf and navigate complex multi-step workflows like organizing your Gmail inbox or planning an itinerary.
The company is also releasing ‘Antigravity,’ a new agentic development platform, which enables developers to operate at a higher, task-oriented level. You can download the public preview at no charge for macOS, Windows, and Linux.
