Rogers has added another Rocket stick to their LTE arsenal, the Sierra Wireless AirCard 330U. This is now available and can be yours for $169.99 No-term, or $79.99 on a 3-year term. Curious about the speeds you can expect? Well, Rogers states that the typical LTE download speeds will be between 12-40 Mbps. Although the SD Card is not included in the box, it’ll hold up to 32GB.

Yeah, since Bell and Telus HSPA is faster and generally more reliable than Rogers, Rogers really needs to follow Verizon’s lead and deploy LTE on their entire wireless footprint at a rapid pace and start making all of their new smartphones LTE compatible going forward. Rogers needs this to differentiate itself from the other premium brands and keep its title as the “innovator” in the market place.

How can this be $169.99 no term, but a whopping $80 on a 3 year term? So in 3 years of data payments, you can’t cover the initial cost Rogers?

Why not just get another phone for that price?? $200 – $80 for an antenna??? At least with another phone, you can use it as well and tether when you want.
