Koodo has released their 2nd HSPA device – the INQ Chat 3G. This device is from a UK based INQ and it’s their first device to arrive on the Canadian wireless scene. This is dubbed as being “Canada’s Ultimate Social Phone” and can be yours on for $200, or if you choose to use the Tab it’ll cost you $50. Quick specs on the Chat 3G are that it has a full QWERTY keyboard, 3.2 megapixel camera with video capabilities, MP3 player and integration for Facebook, Twitter.
Check it out here at Koodo
Interesting choice!
I’ll be heading to Best Buy to see how it is!

I could see them putting this on Telus pay and talk to shut up all the people who want a prepaid smart phone(you still wouldnt be able to use HSPA though I am sure)

A cursory glance of reviews on this phone seem to indicate that it is not very good. It takes a long time to load up because of checking all the social messaging sites.

These is a FAIL!
There is no appetite for carrier driven social networking applications, we all know that!

Bought it online when it came out. Decent phone but if you can afford the blackberry than get it without a doubt. I have had major issues with the facebook app that comes preloaded on it. I still haven’t managed to log in. It’s not a huge deal for me personally but could be problematic.

bought this phone and it’s rad. came with an extra battery cover to change it to make it look snazzy and am definitely digging the entire package. recommended to those who need a good phone but don’t want to pay a million bajillion dollars for some of the high roller companies. it sounds good when you talk on it, it sends txts lightening quick and the camera is decent.

Telus offers this phone on pay and talk and so does Koodo. If you buy the phone outright it can be hooked up/ activated on prepaid.
