Dave Wireless (Data Audio & Visual Enterprises Inc) invested $243.1-million for 10 licenses during the Canadian Wireless Spectrum Auction and will be launching their new wireless service in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa.
They have been relatively quiet as they only given out updates with roaming partners, network build-out partners and bold stated that “Competition is Coming” and today we got closer as Dave has announced their new brand name: “Mobilicity” with the tag line of “My Phone, My City, My Way”.
Tag line: “No Contract. No Credit Check. Unlimited Wireless” launching first in Toronto this Spring, then roll-outs in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary and Ottawa. The name “Mobilicity” comprises of 2 words: Mobile and Simplicity and they will have brand name handsets like BlackBerry and Nokia.
