Unreleased BlackBerry Curve 8910 surfaces

Spy shots of unreleased devices are always fun to look at. It gives a glimpse of what’s coming up for a potential carrier. Last week recently saw the upcoming Pearl 9100 with the new trackpad and WiFi… With that old news a new Berry has surfaced and it looks to be a step up from the 8900 series.

The BlackBerry Curve 8910 is pictured on the left and is confirmed to be running OS version 5.0.4+. This is a bit confusing as it looks like the 8520 and the BlackBerry Bold 9700. It’s kinda in the middle. Gone are the silver bars between the keys and probably gone is the leather like backing that the 9700 has. No word on when this is coming or to which carriers but the trackball is now replaced with the standard trackpad.

  1. Wind Mobile? I wonder if it has AWS cause if Wind sells this for say $250-300 it will a lot not to mention the pearl 9100 could be coming to Wind as well.

  2. Sigh… I really don’t understand why RIM wastes time on these mid-range devices. They’ve got 9700 for the baller and 85XX for the more conservative. Not to mention a touchscreen and a surepress model.

    Enough is enough!
