Alberta politicians on BlackBerry: “if Obama can keep his, I need to keep mine”

kowalskiLooks like the Obama political BlackBerry addiction to is spreading north!

Politicians in Alberta have been critisized and have been warned to stop using the phones during sessions. Speaker of the House Ken Kowalski said “C’mon now. We agreed on certain things, certain decorum, and I even noted prior to this time today that several members had BlackBerrys out. Please.” In addition, he noted if it does not stop he will have “to have to deal with this in an entirely different way.”

The quote of the day comes from Edmonton-Castle Downs MLA (Member of the Legislative Assembly), Thomas Lukaszuk said “I’m addicted to trying to serve my constituents, if Obama can keep his, I need to keep mine”
