Heartstopper is a British coming-of-age romantic drama series on Netflix based on the graphic novel and webcomic created by Alice Oseman. The series, starring Joe Locke and Kit Conner, is getting its third season on Netflix.
The third season will air on Netflix on October 3rd.
According to the description on the YouTube page, here’s what we should expect for season 3: “Charlie and Nick are ready to take things to the next level. As they get closer in every way, they face their relationship’s biggest challenge yet. Saying, ‘I love you.'”
Heartstopper is an interesting series, as most of the characters are 2SLGBTQ in some form or another. I wish that this series was around when I was younger, as I think I would have helped a young gay boy. However, I’m hoping young LGBTQ+ kids learn from this series instead of shows like Euphoria.
