This morning is certainly bringing some LTE (Long Term Evolution) love to the east coast. We’ve been tipped by a few readers in Charlottetown that Bell has gone live with their LTE network. The speeds are consistent with what we’ve tested over the past year – average LTE download speeds will give you between 18-40 Mbps. Bell’s Charlottetown LTE coverage map has not been updated on their site so this could also mean they’re currently testing in the area, but rest assured that LTE is live.
At last count Bell’s LTE network reached about 68% of the Canadian population – which is about 22 million Canadians.
