Google Docs for Android updated to v1.0.43, brings offline access

Google has just announced an update to the Google Docs app for Android. The biggest change that this update (version 1.0.43) brings is the ability to have offline access to all your files. In addition, if you’re using an Android tablet, say the Galaxy Tab, Optimus Pad or Transformer Prime, you’ll apparently have a better Google Docs reading experience and “get a high-resolution version of the document”. Here’s the full change log:

– Make any file available offline for view access while not connected
– Manage offline content, including seeing what’s out of date
– Automatic syncing of offline content while on WiFi
– Star and rename files while offline
– Improved reading experience of Google documents while on a tablet
