Update: Siri will be coming to Canadians

One of the new and cool features that Apple is bringing to the iPhone 4S is Siri. This is a “voice-assistant” that sounds like it could be your best friend, but one with a robotic voice. Siri allows you to perform various task such as asking “it” to read and reply to your messages (emails and texts), looking up the weather and general information such as traffic.

Certainly could be incredibly useful, but the service is currently in beta and for some reason seems to be missing from the Canadian Apple site. Other countries have it, US, France and Germany. According to the Apple U.S. site it notes that “Siri is available in Beta only on iPhone 4S and requires Internet access. Siri may not be available in all languages or in all areas, and features may vary by area. Cellular data charges may apply.”

Hopefully this is an error and that we get ALL the features that the new iPhone 4S has.

Update: Siri is coming to Canadians, still not live on the Apple site yet.
