You know the Android 2.3 HTC Glacier, this was re-named by T-Mobile and was called the myTouch 4G and will also be re-named by Mobilicity and be called the HTC Panache. This is an exclusive release for the new-entrant but it seems the exclusivity might be only for their 5 launch cities (Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and Ottawa). For those located in Quebec it looks like you’ll be getting this device soon via Vidéotron. A leaked Gingerbread ROM for the HTC Glacier has Vidéotron all over it. The file name is RUU_Glacier_Gingerbread_S_Videotron_CA_2.10.1530.1_Radio_12.55.60.25_26.09.04.26_M_release_188466_signed.exe and you can download it here if you wish.
There is no word yet on a release date but Mobilicity will start selling this Android sent week for $499.99 outright.
Videotron is also expected to release the Android-powered LG Optimus 2X too.
More soon!
