TELUS HTC Desire pricing revealed in their Source Code?

The HTC Desire is one of the most anticipated Android devices that will hit Canada. It’s got a whack load of impressive specs such as running Android OS 2.1, a 3.7-inch touchscreen display (resolution of 480×800), a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, WiFi, 5 megapixel camera etc… TELUS only states that the device is “coming soon” and gives no firm date or pricing.

However, if you take a look at their source code it reveals the pricing. All you have to do is right click on the HTC Desire page and click “View Page Source”, it’ll give you lots of code and you’ll find the price points. It shows this: 1-Year term: $499.95; 2-year term $399.95 and the 3-year term: $299.95

Not sure if these will be the real prices for when the Desire launches… mainly because TELUS never has anything priced that ends with $0.95. I’m sure we’ll see these prices coming in lower.

(Thanks Tim!)
