Microsoft Lumia 650 press image leaks online

According to rumours, Microsoft will unveil its next smartphone in the coming days, a follow-up to the mid-range Lumia 640 announced at last year’s Mobile World Congress.

Originally tipped for a February 1st announcement, reputable device leaker Evan Blass has revealed the final design of the Windows 10 Mobile-powered Lumia 650. This is reportedly the last Lumia the company will produce, and details minor changes to its predecessor, though the phone’s specs remain entry-level.

The Lumia 650 is reported to have a 5-inch 720p display, a quad-core Snapdragon 212 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

There is no indication yet as to when Microsoft will officially announce the Lumia 650, nor if it will have support from Canadian carriers, but it may be announced at Mobile World Congress later this month.
