At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last night the GSMA announced the “2010 Global Mobile Award Winners” and Steve Jobs took home the prestigious “Mobile Personality of the Year” Award. He was not there but was recognized for his contribution to the mobile industry, specifically for the iPhone. In addition, top mobile handset went to HTC for the Android-powered HTC Hero. When it comes to a Canadian company being represented, RIM shined with “Best Mobile Enterprise Product or Service: Research In Motion – BlackBerry Enterprise Server v5.0”.
