LG Dare Video Review

This is our first video review of the recently launched LG Dare from Telus, now available on a promo for $0.00 on a 3-year plan.  This touchscreen device comes loaded with up to 8GB of storage plus a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, video capture, 3G full HTML Web browser. Dimensions are 104×56x13and weighs 107 grams with a 3.0” WQVGA touchscreen display that is 240×400 pixels.

There are other plans available such as: no contract for $349.99, 2-year for $99.99 and 1-year for 299.99.

This device is very cool, but it takes a bit of time to get used to all the features. Although it is easy to navigate your way around, to really get a full flavour of this phone you will need to set aside a few hours. Just like any touchscreen device to date, the keys are sensitive and close together… making us type incorrectly or enter the wrong number for text or phone calls.  The call quality (Sending and receiving) is good and we did not experience any challenges or dropped calls.

  2. I’m hoping I can get this as an upgrade on my spinster $7 a month Bell data package ( now $10 fr newbs) NICE features hand writing recognition geez don’t know if iPhone have that yet? GOOD camera in comparison to most 2MP “bugvision” cameras. I am a little hesitant on the resolution sounds similar to the Samsung Instinct which my eyes just couldn’t handle. Otherwise great review and a decent value for an upgrade now can I get this @ $7month data package like I hope?
