Michael Kors is expanding its smartwatch offerings with two new Android Wear 2.0 devices, the Sofie for women and Grayson for men, both of which are coming to Canada.

The Sofie has a lightweight, thin case body with a pavé bezel and round display. It’ll be available in eight plating-and-bracelet options, with seven interchangeable strap options. The Grayson, meanwhile, “combines luxury with sporty good looks” and has a round dial with a rotating crown for quick scrolling, much like LG’s Watch Sport. It’ll come in three variants with four strap options.

Adding to its style cache, Michael Kors announced that a new built-in software feature called My Social allows the user to link their Instagram account and set personal pictures from that platform as watch faces.

The duo also feature AMOLED displays and run on Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipsets, though further details about specs are as yet unknown. The watches start at $350 USD (around $467 CAD), available through Michael Kors stores, MichaelKors.ca and select department and specialty stores. Michael Kors didn’t offer any further information when it comes to availability in Canada, though it may align with the company’s U.S. debut which is set for fall 2017.

“It’s clear to me that the future of fashion will combine great design, personal style and innovative technology,” said Michael Kors in a statement, “and the amazing response to Michael Kors Access has confirmed that that future is now. We’re thrilled to be able to offer this next generation of smartwatches and hybrids.”

In addition to the touchscreen Grayson and Sofie watches, the fashion company is also introducing two new hybrid smartwatch styles for men and expanding the existing Gage hybrid assortment (shown below).
