LG to reintroduce Prada series next year with Android 4.0?

Remember Prada? When the Motorola RAZR was at its height the Prada was right there beside it, offering a “fashion-conscious” alternative.

Well, now that feature phones have given way to their smarter kin, it would seem only appropriate that LG would reintroduce the brand to the market — especially since Motorola has just done the same thing.

According to a press release, Prada and LG have signed an agreement to bring a new Prada-branded phone to the market in early 2012 – probably never hitting Canadian hands. Early specs include a dual-core processor, 8MP camera and 1.3MP front camera, as well as a next-generation 4.3″ NOVA screen with up t0 1000nits of brightness.

From the sketches the phone resembles the Nokia Lumia 800, which is certainly no design slouch. While we’re weary of another popular brand relaunch, in this case we could be in for a treat.
