Mobilicity in-store look described as “urban scheme”

Back in February we wrote a quick post about how Mobilicity hired New York-based branding firm Verse Group to create the Mobilicity “brand story, name and visual identity”. Verse Chief Creative Officer Michael Thibodeau stated that “the Mobilicity brand connects with consumers because, in fact, consumers had a say in co-creating it during extensive market research”.

Here’s a little more insight into the Canada’s newest wireless company. They hired Toronto-based DMD Retail Design to come up with the in-store Mobilicity look. DMD president & creative director David Milne said that the concept that Mobilicity went with “was the one we termed urban scheme, the inspiration coming from a New York subway map… It became the metaphor for connecting people. We created a clean, white and grey environment to go with the colours that were already established with their logo”. Via: DesignEdge Canada
