BlackBerry just finished with the launch of one the most hotly anticipated phones of the season, but the company isn’t resting on its laurels now that the phone has made its debut across Canada’s Big Three. BlackBerry today announced a change to its board that will see the Mike Daniels, former Chairman and CEO of Mobile 365, take a seat as a director.
Daniels also serves on the board of Mercury systems, and is a director at Northern Virginia Technology Council, and the Virginia Chamber of Commerce. He serves as chairman of the Logistics Management Institute and leads the National Advisory Board of the American Enterprise Institute Center for Internet, Communications and Technology Policy.
Mike Daniels is the first new addition to the board at BlackBerry since John Chen was appointed in November of last year. He joins six other directors, all of whom arrived in 2011 or later save for Barbara Symiest, who was appointed in 2007 and has served as Chair since 2012.
