RIM to release BlackBerry Watch called “inPulse”?

inpulse-blackberryThere’s been a rumour going around for the past couple years that RIM is creating a “BlackBerry Watch”. Images has surfaced but nothing official.

Today CrackBerry has received some new images of what is going to be the official launch of this watch. They’ve said it’s being developed by a BlackBerry-dedicated accessory company and it’s going to be branded the “inPulse smartwatch”.

A couple points about the upcoming inPulse are:
- it features an OLED screen that’s optimized for displaying text clearly
- it’s designed to show you notifications and previews of messages arriving on your BlackBerry

Is this something you would want to have? This could be the year for Smartphone watches as LG recently launched theirs in Europe and Samsung will follow soon.
