Update: Winner announced in our Bell HTC One V contest!

Update: This contest is now over. We’re happy to announce that Facebook follower Trevor Hanson takes home the One V! Big congrats Trevor!

The HTC One V is probably one of the most powerful, spec heavy, entry-level devices currently available. The device itself has the unibody design that’s remenisent of the old Legend, but this Android comes with OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, Sense 4.0 packed with Beats Audio. In addition, the One V has a 3.7-inch display, 1Ghz Snapdragon processor, Wi-Fi, and a 5MP camera that shoots 720p HD videos. Pretty decent specs for a device that retails for $300. The good news for you is that if you’re thinking about grabbing it you might want to enter out contest… we’re giving one of these away.

      Bell phones also work on Virgin. You could unlock the phone from somewhere between 20-50 or go month to month on Bell (ten percent discount on rate plan).

    I love the design of this phone, it gives a nod to the original Legend. I wish that it had high end specs with a larger display though, I think that the One X is more my speed. That being said though, this would make a fabulous phone for one of my parents.

    Now if only it wasn’t so difficult to unlock…
