TIFF app for BlackBerry now available (Smartphones and PlayBook)

The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is happening once again, now in it’s 36th year. Definitely lots of buzz around the streets of Toronto and BlackBerry is a major sponsor in the event and they’ve created a TIFF app. It’s available on all the latest devices (9900, 9810, 9860) plus the BlackBerry PlayBook. The app is free and gives you u-to-dateschedules, news, maps and descriptions of all the films that are playing at TIFF this year. The app is free and you can get it here via the BlackBerry App World

(Thanks Ted!)

    • Gee whiz you too dumb to use the browser and wi-fi to get on line.
Wait better yet why not get a Playbook and Bridge to your Blackberry….based on your “smart@%%” remark you don’t own a Blackberry smartphone either.

    • I had a blackberry once, back in 2004, but I moved ahead with the rest of the world and got a real smartphone.

You seem to know a lot about the playbook, can you tell me if it has contacts or calendar or native email or android apps yet?

Thanks! I look forward to your response.

  5. Hey, how about you email me your favourite song from the soundtrack of a TIFF movie? Oh yeah, you can’t cause you have to hack your Ipad to do it.
Have an Android device? Yah.. keep your files and trojans to yourself.

    • You seem to know a lot about tablets. Can you tell me if the playbook has any of the following yet:

      -Native email
      -Contacts
      -Calendar
      -Android apps

  6. You all are arguing as if you made the ipad or playbook. Both technologies have their own pros and cons. Ipad is good to play around with some dumb apps and playbook is good for its security but lacks some features. I use both in their own capacities and appreciate what technology has got for all of us. Let there be peace. Cheers.

  7. Native email
    -Contacts
    -Calendar
    -Android apps

This is all the PB detractors seem to stress on. Do they talk about the FAR superior web browsing experience on the Playbook? NOPE!!! Multitasking capabilities? NOPE AGAIN!!!
What pray tell will they talk about when the PB gets native email, a calendar, contacts and android apps very soon???
Please tell me..I am dying to know…
