Android-powered Acer Liquid E officially available at Rogers

Another day has come in the Android revolution. Those wanting to get their hands on the Acer Liquid E can head over to Rogers and score one.

As we’ve stated before this comes with a 3.5-inch display, OS 2.1 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 5MP camera with video capabilities, WiFi, full HTML browser, GPS, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headset jack, holds up to 32GB  (Rogers ships with a 2 GB microSD card). Overall dimensions are 116×54×12.75mm and weighs 135 grams.

Price plans range from the 3-year price of $49.99; 2-year for $324.99; 1-year for $374.99 the no-contract price of $424.99.   More here at Rogers

  4. Honestly, the Liquid E w/ Android 2.1, a nice WVGA (480×800) looks like one of the best Android phones available in Canada.
    One of the cheapest too!

  6. I don’t know, to me the phone has a cheap look about it. Does Acer have much of a reputation for making decent mobile phones?

  11. Nice specs, can’t say I’m crazy about the overall design or the big Acer logotype.. I guess they have an ok reputation for their phones in other parts of the world, but in North America they are mostly known for making cheap, somewhat unreliable computers. For power users and devs who mostly care about the guts of the phone and the relatively unmodified, recent Android build, this may be a good option. I can’t see it doing that well with the more fashion-conscious smartphone segments though.
