There’s been several rumours about the upcoming release of the BlackBerry Torch 9800 in Canada. This will released by Rogers, Bell, TELUS and Virgin. In the past we’ve heard of a September 16th for TELUS, September 15th for Rogers and even an invitation to the launch parties kicked off on September 21st.
A Future Shop inventory screenshot has surfaced that shows the upcoming Rogers BlackBerry Torch 9800 to have a “street date” of September 15th. It does say “presale” so we’re not sure if this is some sort of pre-order or the actual release date. The price is just a place holder at $999.99 but on Friday we saw the TELUS source code possibly reveal the no-contract price will probably fall in at the $599 mark.
We’re getting closer to having the next BlackBerry here… and more importantly the anticipated new BlackBerry 6 OS.
