HTC Amaze now available at Videotron for $129/$599

The high-end HTC Amaze has been available for a few days at WIND and Mobilicity, and now Videotron is getting in on the action. Available for $599.95 outright our $129.95 bundled with a $40 monthly fee, it is definitely the highest-end device on the burgeoning Quebec network. Even though the phone is capable of doing 42Mbps download speeds, it will fall back to 21Mbps on Videotron’s network.

We reviewed the TELUS version of the HTC Amaze, and the two are identical in functionality. It has a 1.5Ghz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8MP camera with dedicated shutter button and a 960×540 Super LCD display.

  2. Is this a pentaband phone? It will work on Rogers/Bell/Telus/WIND/Mobilicity and Public Mobile?
If so, this is an AMAZEing device.
Once unlocked, for the next three months we can use and jump to another carrier (until another must-have phone comes around and we throw another $600+, LOL)

    • NOT pentband, there are two versions of it, one for telus (HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100) and one for wind/mobi/vidéotron (HSDPA 1700 / 2100)
