The other day we posted an internal doc that revealed the 3-year contract price for the upcoming Bell HTC Sensation to be $149.95… news today from Best Buy as they have put the Sensation online and confirmed the price to be true. This seemed a bit high as many thought it would coming in around the $99.95 mark (or lower). Comparing it to the Samsung Galaxy S II 4G it’s rumoured that this will see a price point below $100, SaskTel will be releasing it for $79.99 on a 3-year… so many Android devices to choose from.

Not too bad. Just wait a few months and the price will drop to less than $50, maybe even $0. Wait even longer and you can one second hand for $250-300. Might as well take advantage of the rapid pace of new phones and the enthusiasts who always want to upgrade to the latest and greatest ;)

The price seems high. I expect a rather rapid price adjustment.

Hmm, I think the price might be fair since its a new product. Who knows, it might drop like the Atrix or when the SGS II comes out.

I think I’ll wait until my S2 comes out on the July 14th.
