Yesterday we reported that the WIND Mobile mobile portal has gone live… but today there are some new updates. Posted on their website just moments ago, WIND has stated that “WINDWORLD” and Facebook Zero are both free to browse for all WIND customers.
“Our mobile portal, WIND World, is an absolutely free browsing zone for all WIND customers, whether you have a data plan or not. The browser on your WIND phone is already set to m.windmobile.ca, and when you fire it up you’ll notice a number of handy features like free ringtones, free wallpaper, free games and CBC news updates. As WIND World grows, more content will be added, giving you even more access to more cool things to do with your phone… One of our favourite things you’ll see on WIND World is Facebook Zero – a totally free way to access Facebook, even without a data plan.
