The HTC Desire 10 lineup will not come to Canada

HTC’s two new midrange smartphones, the Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle, will not make their way to the Canadian market, at least not in the foreseeable future.

When asked to comment on when and if the two devices will launch in Canada, a spokesperson for HTC said, “The Desire 10 announcement is currently focused on global markets outside of the U.S. and Canada.”

HTC announced the Desire 10 lineup earlier this week. The Pro, the more capable of the two devices, features a MediaTek Helio P10 SoC, 5.5-inch 1080p display, 3/4GB of RAM, 32/64 GB of expandable storage, back-facing fingerprint scanner and 3,000mAh battery.

For those that really want to buy a HTC device, the good news is that HTC recently slashed the off-contract price of its excellent 10 smartphone to $799.
