The next update of Gmail for Android is getting a couple of important features for keeping rid of spammy newsletters and unwanted emails.
Google announced today that it is adding one-tap unsubscribe and block options from the overflow menu in Gmail for Android, allowing users to quickly prevent those addresses from returning to one’s inbox.
The block feature is new both on the web and Android, but the unsubscribe feature has been available on the web for a while. The features should be rolling out in an update over the next week.
