Rogers has updated its OS Upgrades page today and after releasing Android 4.4 updates for most of its flagships, including the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Note 3, Sony Xperia Z1, HTC One M7 and One Mini, and the LG G2, the company is now promising updates for many older devices.
Last year, Samsung promised KitKat updates for most of its older devices, and Rogers has put a “Coming Soon” sign atop the Galaxy S3, S4 Mini, S3 Mini, Mega, Note II and Note 8.0 LTE. The Sony Xperia ZL is also slated to receive its KitKat update soon.
No word on when exactly these will roll out, but it’s nice to know that Rogers is continuing to keep its wide slate of aging and discontinued handsets and tablets afloat.
