Google Maps for iOS has been updated with a small but important new feature: the ability to begin navigation one tap after searching for directions. When searching, “Start navigation” will show up below the various cards, alerting users to traffic snarls and other relevant information.
The app has also added a “Tips and Tricks” features from the left-side menu bar, helping novice users better navigate the app itself before navigating the world around them.
Lastly, Hebrew and Arabic are now supported, both in written form and through voice guidance, which will surely make a lot of people happy.
