While much of the recent hoopla has been about Apple coming out with a gold colour, perhaps more champagne, for the next iPhone, Waterloo-based BlackBerry has already launched a gold and white BlackBerry Q10 Special Edition for customers in UAE.
According to the press release the ‘the special edition BlackBerry Q10 smartphone will be available in white with a brilliant gold colored stainless steel frame, accompanied by an exquisitely-designed, gold-accented headset and protective leather sleeve. The special edition smartphone will also feature an exclusive range of unique BlackBerry PIN numbers.’
As for the price, this special edition Q10 is priced at AED 3,799 – which is just over $1,000 CDN. This Q10 is heading straight for the BlackBerry retail store in Dubai Mall today and there are no signs of it coming to Canada. You could probably find it on eBay if you really wanted one.
