Google Nexus 10 captured on video for a brief five seconds

This could be the fastest look at a leaked tablet ever. What we have here is a brief 5 second video of the upcoming Google Nexus 10 by Samsung. The launch date for the 10.1-inch tablet is unknown, but we should be hearing specific details in the coming days. The specs included are a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor, runs Android OS 4.2 Jelly Bean and sports a 5MP camera – you can check out the full specs here. Because it’s not like there’s been a 10″ Apple tablet for years already and this hasn’t thwarted the development of Android tablets, all the iPad needed to really destroy them was to be slightly smaller.”

    That’s pretty sharp. Looks like a more personable version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab to me.

    Kinda love the design, even if the bezel is a bit large.. Hope they’ll change the back for an Ativ like instead of this ugly upper plastic bar..

    I dunno, that design just doesn’t do it for me. The edges look too bulky and rounded. I’m sure it will be powerful and silky smooth but I prefer the look of my Nexus 7.

    The bottom bezel looks bigger because the hot buttons are in a black bar along the bottom. That’s partly screen, although it’s black.

    I quite like it, though, I think it does something that Android tablets largely have struggled to do, and that’s “not look too much like an iPad”. I realize, of course, that it’s merely because the iPad was popularized first that people make the claim, but I would be willing to bet the lawsuit helped inspire this design. I like it.

    I hope Google learns, Sammy isn’t going to build anything better than their s**t. Looks like a piece of garbage to me. Like a baby, hunk, car, whatever looks count.

      I’m personally not a fan of Samsung’s plastics, but while I’d prefer an HTC or Motorola style design, you can’t argue that Samsung dies make quality, reliable products. I’ve heard little complaints about the GSIII’s quality and reliability, and I’ve had absolutely no problems with my Samsung TVs, speakers, and other electronics. Plus, it’s always nice having the added bonus of a removable battery.

    The canadian S3 has a pretty average gpu (adreno 225) and even the Mali 400 mp4 would be lagging for a tablet compared to the competition (A6, A5X, S4 with adreno 305, and others I might miss).

    It’s hard to believe the can actually produce such a boring tablet considering the very nice designs out there.

      Not sure what school you went to but find a better one. Alien looking and different will never equal boring. However, if the nice designs you are talking about are as COMMON as you say, that would actually make the nice designs boring, not the other way around.

    I don’t like how the home, back and multitask buttons are in the centre. Much prefer them being at the left hand side. Other than that, looks great!

    Im sorry but the Bulky look of the Bezel also does not do it for me. I also prefer the look of the Nexus 7.

      Android 4.2 is Jelly Bean. It’s expected to be announced in the coming weeks – however it’s going to retain the same name.

    I’m still good with my Nexus 7. I love the portability of a 7 inch tablet. 10 inches would stay at home, but I’m in no rush to get another tablet.

    That thing is hideous. I am so happy with my Nexus 7 and so glad the Nexus 4 is not made by Samsung.
